Trista Zinn, Hypopressives & Oxygen Advantage Instructor
With over 35 years of experience in the fitness industry, I am the founder and owner of CoreSet Fitness, as well as the Director and owner of Hypopressives Canada.
My passion for core and respiratory health led me to become a Hypopressive Master Trainer and to serve on the board of directors for the International Hypopressives Council.
In 2012, I began streamlining my business to focus on the Hypopressive technique, a revolutionary approach to core and respiratory health.
Over the past 11 years, I have certified countless health professionals across North America in this technique.
My journey into Hypopressives began when I noticed symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction getting markedly better with Hypopressives.
This discovery fueled my desire to explore and optimize the relationship between breathing and core & pelvic function, inspired by the profound insights from Mary Massery's "If You Can’t Breathe, You Can’t Function."
My dedication to continuous learning is evident through my certifications and training, including the Oxygen Advantage and Advanced Oxygen Advantage programs, TRX suspension training, and specialized courses such as Nailing the Core by the Australian Fitness Network and Neurophysiology 101 by Body Harmonics.
I’ve also had the privilege of presenting at the CPTN Toronto conference and to students at the University of Toronto.
Here at BreathWorks, I lead the team of high altitude breath work trainers by incorporating the different principles I have learnt across discliplines of breathing and well-being.
Beyond my certifications and training, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge.
I've been featured in numerous articles, interviewed on Canadian TV, magazines, and North American podcasts.
I continue to attend workshops and conferences to stay at the forefront of fitness and health, always aiming to provide the best for my clients.
In everything I do, my goal remains the same: to empower individuals to optimize their breathing potential, which is the foundation of core strength and overall body function.
Mahesh Kumar, Thai Boxing, Cricket Maniac & Business-Builder
I grew up in India, where I was immersed in the rich traditions of yoga from an early age. This early exposure to yoga has profoundly shaped my approach to health and wellness throughout my life.
My passion for breathwork led me to become an Art of Living breathwork practitioner, further deepening my understanding of the mind-body connection.
In addition to my yoga and breathwork practices, I am dedicated to the Hypopressive technique, a revolutionary approach to core and respiratory health that focuses on optimizing core function and overall well-being.
My fitness journey has been diverse and intense. I spent a year training and fighting in Thai boxing, an experience that tested my physical limits and honed my mental resilience.
This rigorous training reinforced my commitment to pushing boundaries in all aspects of health and fitness.
Beyond the gym, I play cricket in the Swedish leagues, where I integrate my breathwork practices to improve recovery times post-game.
This unique combination of fitness and breathing techniques has not only enhanced my athletic performance but also deepened my understanding of the critical role breathing plays in overall recovery and endurance.
As a five-time entrepreneur in the health and fitness space, I have successfully built and grown multiple businesses, including the sale of one company to the unicorn ClassPass.
My entrepreneurial journey is driven by a passion for creating systems that empower others, allowing me to reach and impact more people in meaningful ways.
I am passionate about building opportunities that enable individuals to unlock their full performance potential.
Whether through innovative fitness systems, breathwork practices, or entrepreneurial ventures, my mission is to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those I reach.
